Great for any manager, leader, or school to transform the culture of their workplace

I looked at the piece of paper in front of me. It couldn't be. We were doing everything the education experts said we needed to do to succeed and according to the sheet of paper in front of me, none of it had worked. As a teacher at Sunnyside High School, I was discouraged and tired. That is when Dr. Salina stepped in. We had missed a piece of the puzzle and it was a big one. His model of leadership and his process to empower staff and students really did work and has continued to work after Dr. Salina left Sunnyside High School. Sunnyside High School changed from a place no one wanted to work in to a place no one wants to leave. I would encourage any manager, leader or school to read Dr. Salina's book and change the culture of their workplace.
